Janelle Patnaude Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Janelle Longtine Patnaude, who journeyed to her eternal rest on November 1, 2024. Born on September 14, 1963, in Fremont, California, Janelle graced this world for over six decades with her warmth, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Janelle was the beloved daughter of Jean Rochelle Longtine and Frank Longtine, who both preceded her in death, alongside her cherished sister, Lynelle Larson. She leaves behind a legacy filled with love and a strong family bond that will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.
Janelle is survived by her devoted daughter, Danielle Patnaude, and her son, Adam Patnaude, along with Adam’s wife, Tara Patnaude. She took great joy in her role as a grandmother to Makenna Dement, and she leaves behind a supportive family that includes her sisters, Giselle Longtine and Gabrielle Newman, along with her brother, Derek Longtine, as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.
A woman of remarkable spirit, Janelle was a long-time member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, Washington, where she found great joy in playing in the bell choir. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life; she was never deterred from drawing closer to God, even finding a new church community to connect with when she could no longer drive. Her genuine interest in the lives of others was a testament to her character. Janelle cared deeply about those around her, always asking about their well-being and staying updated on their journeys.
Janelle’s warmth, kindness, and commitment to her community will be missed dearly. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith, and unwavering support for her family and friends. She touched the lives of many, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of Janelle's life will be held at a family friend’s house on November 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Please contact Adam or Dani if you are interested in honoring her memory and sharing the stories that keep her spirit alive.
In this time of sorrow, we remember Janelle not only for her passing but for the incredible joy she brought to our lives. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of the family that preceded her and the faith that guided her through life.
