(Feb 11, 1951. August 18, 2024)
Randall David Yates, 73, passed from this earth after a long hard battle with cancer on August 18,
2024 in his home surrounded by loved ones
Randy was born in Seattle, Washington on Feb 11, 1951, to Maxine and Jack Yates
He graduated from Shorecrest High School, where he was an incredible gymnast and made lifelong
friends.
He joined the Army, where he was stationed in Georgia and Germany with his first wife Ricky and
children Randi and Dan

was a master at his craft and continued this occupation until he retired.
During this time, he married Ann had children Amanda and Jennifer, and in later years married Shirley
(Shirl Girl), which added Jana and David to the family to create his own personal Brady Bunch
Randy loved the Lord, the outdoors, camping, fishing, physical fitness, and cruising with his T-tops off in
his beloved Camaro, but his passion was his family and friends. He loved sharing his favorite place, his
childhood home, which became his own home on the Skykomish River, with everyone who knew him.
Randy knew how to love, laugh, and make each and every person he came in contact with feel
important and special. He had a gift of making you feel better just by being near him. He was truly
cherished and will be greatly missed.
